Some of their influences include Nepali folk icons like Jhalakman Gandharva and Bir Bahadur Biswakarma, along with artists like Bassekou Kouyate & Ngoni Ba, Tamikrest, and Mdou Moctar from Africa. And don’t forget the Western guitarists like Marc Ribot and R.L. Burnside, whose influences are also evident in their music. Add in a dash of classic rock, blues, and even hip-hop, and you’ve got a sound that’s rich and layered.
